COVID-19 Policy at Yoga by Gillian
We commit to the wellbeing of our team and clients and if they show/have any signs of COVID-19, they will be sent home in accordance with UK Government regulations.
It is wholly the responsibility of each individual student or client to take all possible reasonable personal precautions when taking part in physical activity.
We will comply with any health designation documentation that the UK Government implements, and we require all clients to agree to all COVID-19 Health and Safety measures as a mandatory part of their visit to Yoga by Gillian.
Posters will be on display informing clients of social distancing and cleanliness/hygiene protocols.
PPE is mandatory: all staff and clients will be required to wear PPE on arrival, in-centre and departing the building. Clients are not expected to wear PPE whilst in class unless required by UK Government guidelines. If clients wish to wear PPE, that would be their own personal choice.
We will ensure that social distancing is adhered to throughout the centres at all times by staff and clients.
At time of arrival, we require all clients to sign a consent form, by way of confirmation that neither they, nor anyone they have been in close proximity to, have had any symptoms related to or associated with COVID-19 within the 14 days preceding their visit to Yoga by Gillian.
We require all clients that if they have visited us for a class or workshop, or for any other reason; and they then show any symptoms relating to or associated with COVID-19 after their visit, they will contact us immediately. Necessary protocols will be actioned if there is any reasonable possibility that a staff member, or client has attended Yoga by Gillian and after visiting is showing any symptoms of COVID-19.
Cleaning
Cleaning is the responsibility of the centre where classes/workshops take place. Additional cleaning facilities will be available for high-contact touch points.
Social distancing must be adhered to at all times for all staff and clients, with 2m spacing marked on the floor. Please respect these markings and the space of other clients.
Studio
We ask that all staff and clients follow the social distancing guidelines (2m) at all times. We have changed our studio layouts to allow for appropriate space between each mat. There will be clear signage in the form of floor markings and a system will be in place to manage the flow of students entering and leaving classes. Classes will also be drastically reduced in capacity to accommodate social distancing.
It is advised that students bring their own mats and props to class. We will not provide mats but will offer the use of some props. These props will be sanitised between classes. There will be options at classes to purchase items such as eye pillows and blankets.
Bookings
All classes must be booked in advance through our online booking system. We will not be accepting walk-ins. Please make sure to cancel your booking if you cannot make it in as we are running with limited numbers.
