Yoga by Gillian hosts regular workshops which offer the opportunity to explore your yoga practice on a deeper level. Each event is carefully designed to provide a welcoming, nourishing and inclusive experience for all who attend. Coming to an event you can expect to expand your knowledge and understanding of yoga and wellbeing, while sharing the space with like-minded people and laughing too!

Embark on a soul-nourishing journey as we embrace a slower pace during this full-day yoga retreat. Held within the beautiful Strathaven Hotel, this day retreat offers the chance to unwind and carve out some self-care time with the focus on relaxation and recharging.
The day will include:
Yin yoga to soothe the soul
Hot Chocolate meditation to warm the senses
Restorative yoga to deeply relax
Yoga nidra to recharge the mind and body

This class will start with guided pranayama (breathwork) before moving onto explore some classical yoga poses. We will work on standing postures to build strength and confidence; balance poses to add focus; twists and gentle backbends to help mobilise the spine. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion as we work together to enjoy the many benefits of a regular yoga routine. You will also receive 4 short yoga videos, to help you build an at-home practice. After this class you will be able to join any of my regular weekly classes.
