What’s it all about?
Yin yoga is a relatively new practice which is designed to work deeply within the body on the connective tissue, the joints and the bones! These tissues are more ‘plastic’ and benefit from a gentle stress place on them over an extended period of time. Think about how braces work to realign teeth, this is the same principles behind yin yoga – a little stress over a long period of time.
Yin yoga is ideal if you have any issues with your joints such as arthritis; but it is also an excellent complement to more active pursuits including flow forms of yoga, gym workouts, running, football or any other form of exercise where you are exhausting the muscles. Yin yoga is an effective practice to help return flexibility and increase the range of motion available within the body.

What else do I need to know?
Most of this class is completed either seated or laying down, so it is ideal if you’re looking for a more gentle and slow class.

Anything else I need to know?
While we do have a few yoga mats available to be borrowed, it is recommended that you bring your own mat for your own comfort. Please also bring a warm jumper, cosy socks and a bottle of water.

How much does this class cost?
This class is a 6 week block, which costs £35. To ensure your space, you must book online. Over the course of the 6 weeks we will build your experience and the practice.
