About

Hi, I’m Gillian and I fell in love with yoga over 20 years ago, when I attended my first Ashtanga class. Initially my yoga experience was a home practice – fuelled by videos, DVDs and Books. Fast forward to 2016 when I began my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course with the Seasonal Yoga Academy in Glasgow. This initial course sparked my desire to learn and to share yoga with as many people as possible.

Since then I’ve completed an additional 200-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course, and 150-hour course on 5-Element Yin Yoga/Medi-Yin. Additionally I have completed a 50-hour course on Mythology and Moonology. Basically I love to study and I am always learning more about yoga, in all it’s forms.

I’ve used yoga in my own life to help manage mental health issues, recover from running injuries and to improve the quality of my sleep . Today I can’t imagine not stepping onto my mat, and carving out a little bit of time to move, breathe and meditate.

In my classes you can expect to laugh, move, breathe and meditate. I take my yoga seriously but try not to take myself too seriously! I would love to share some yoga with you, please get in touch if you have any questions, or maybe just book a class and pop along to experience it for yourself.
